I think the first picture with the sticks is the most successful because of the contrast with the colors of the sticks and the snow. It is interesting to look at because it is close up and there are a lot of paths to follow.
A suggestion for the second picture of the path would be to have shoveled down to the ground so that there would be more contrast with the path and the snow because although you can see the path, it doesn't really stand out very much because it's all white.
